Today's card is covering two sketch challenges.  The Friday Mashup is a new blog I've found so thought I'd give it a shot this week.  Love doing these sketch challenges as it gives me an excuse to use all my new stamp sets.  And Lord knows I've got lots of new stamp sets!!!!  And then I'll have lots to use for my display boards come this fall for all the craft shows in our area. 

Stamp set:  Evergreen

Cardstock:  Whisper white, Basic black, and Brushed silver

Accessories:  Big Shot!, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, Heat tool, Silver elastic cord (retired), rhinestone brads (why did they retire?), Iridescent ice embossing powder, Silver embossing powder

Sooooo looking forward to tomorrow as the weatherman is predicting a cold front to come thru which means about a 30 degree drop in temperature.  At 97 degrees today and a strong wind it didn't take long for the clothes to dry outside.  Also looking forward to a cloudy sky with maybe a drop or two of rain.  It's not asking for much, is it?!

I have wanted to participate in a blog sketch challenge for so long and never seem to have the time to do it.  So I saw this sketch this week and new exactly what I wanted to do!  Think I may be using this one for my team swap at Convention next week :-) 

I love the clean and simple elegance of creating with just white and silver.
