Send Me Soaring

My husband and I had our first date night in I can't tell you how long...possibly before the kids were around. And it's only because they had a birthday party to go to!  I know it's sad....So I got home from work today and had a little bit of time to come up with a little boy birthday card.  I've been wanting to do this card for awhile so here was the perfect chance.  Could easily swap out the kites and replace it for the balloons in Up, up and away.

Stamp Club-Up, Up, and Away

Tonight's post is the final project the girls made at stamp club.  I just love hot air balloons and airplanes...good thing my last child was a boy :)  You can guess how his room is decorated!

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Today's feature was my son's birthday card for turning 3 years old.  When I saw this stamp set in the catalog I knew I had to have it.  But amazingly it took me months to finally use it!  It's kind of like being a kid because I have too many toys to play with that some just sit on the sidelines  :-)  And yes, I do have stampsets that were bought with good intentions but never got mounted, and thus, never used.  Don't let my husband know! 

The bright colors in the Big Top Birthday DSP were just perfect for this stamp set.  Would love to have some time to create some scrapbook pages with this awesome paper!  If you look closely, I stamped clouds on the real red cardstock with versamark.
